Harvest Against Hunger (HAH)

Sep 25, 2024

HAH is recognized as the ultimate connector and collaborator within Washington’s hunger relief system. It partners with hunger relief organizations, packing and processing warehouses, large-scale farmers, small to mid-scale growers, transportation companies, and government agencies to bring more healthy food into the hunger relief pipeline. The food gathered through these partnerships includes truckload-sized donations (40,000 lbs) of imperfect yet healthy produce that farmers can’t sell; crops gleaned from farmers’ fields after harvest; and fresh, nutrient dense, culturally relevant produce grown by small to mid-scale growers specifically for their local food pantries and meal programs.
