FRESHFARM

FRESHFARM is a Washington, DC-based nonprofit that builds a more equitable, sustainable, and resilient food system in the Mid-Atlantic region by producing innovative solutions in partnership with local communities and organizations. Since 1997, FRESHFARM has worked to produce innovative solutions for our local food system in partnership with farmers, communities, and organizations. It creates food access, economic development, and thriving communities through more than 26 farmers markets and farm stands that support 250 farmers and producers; robust food incentive and distribution programs; and hands-on food education located in 21 DC public schools in historically underserved areas.
