CommonWealth Kitchen is a non-profit small business development organization on a mission to build an equitable, resilient food economy grounded in racial, social and economic justice. Core programs include operation of a shared-use kitchen for 50+ diverse “foodpreneurs”, business education and technical support, coordinated market access, and its own small-batch co-packing to help emerging businesses scale PLUS provide processing for regional farms to turn food waste into sauces and soups for colleges, hospitals and K-12 schools. Through this work CommonWealth Kitchen is building strong, diverse food businesses, creating jobs, improving culturally relevant food access and creating a food economy for all.
