The Tlingit & Haida Traditional Food Security program was introduced in 2022 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It works to connect more than 34,000 Tribal citizens across 21 communities to traditional foods and education to combat food insecurity and inspire future generations of harvesters and stewards in the region.
