Nearly one in three adults in Mass. are struggling to get enough food to eat, study finds

New study finds that at least 1.8 million people — or 32 percent of the state’s adult population — are food-insecure.

With funding support from the Hunger to Health Collaboratory, The Greater Boston Food Bank conducted a statewide survey to identify changes in food insecurity, document barriers/facilitators of food pantry use and SNAP enrollment, and develop recommendations to improve food access and equity.
