American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting and Expo

APHA’s Annual Meeting and Expo convenes about 12,000 public health professionals and partners from around the world to engage, collaborate and grow. As the largest public health gathering of the year, the Annual Meeting brings together a broad spectrum of professionals across a variety of disciplines.

APHA 2024 is focused on Building Trust in Public Health and Science. “Public health is inherently future-focused, looking toward prevention and promotion to enable populations to live longer, healthier lives. But recent political polarization, underfunding and distrust of scientific research threaten our ability to create optimal, equitable health and well-being for all. The promise and effectiveness of public health is challenged by pseudoscience. Given this discord, we need to rebuild trust in public health and science.” – APHA.org
