Accelerating Solutions for Change: Insights from the 2024 H2HC Fall Summit

At the 2024 Fall Summit, Accelerating Solutions for Systemic Change, H2HC convened 90 innovators and changemakers from 14 states creating solutions to food and nutrition challenges and advancing health equity nationwide.

• 2024 Prizes for Innovation were presented to StreetCred and The Giving Grove, and past and present winners presented about how they are addressing health equity.
• Food and Health sector panels discussed creative corporate solutions and the importance of Community Action Agencies.
• Speakers discussed the large impact of growing nutritious food in the community and the advancement of Food Is Medicine.
• Participants shared their recommendations for future collaborations and initiatives.

H2HC asked for participant recommendations in our future collaborations:

• Focus on data, evaluating impact, and social return on investment (SROI).
• Build inclusive and sustainable local economies through food sector investments.
• Explore more sustainable sources of funding to continue and expand our work during the new administration.
• Use technology and AI to increase efficiency and make more of potentially reduced federal support.
• Engage the private sector on a deeper level as both funders and advocates.
