Seedleaf nourishes communities by growing and sharing food through its 10 public free u-pick community gardens and the 32 acres of farmland that we steward in Lexington, Kentucky. This work not only addresses food insecurity but also promotes diverse and inclusive civic infrastructure within Lexington by bringing audiences into agricultural third spaces that are free and open to the public and where the primary goal is knowledge, food security and food justice through healthy community interdependence. Seedleaf’s work is powered by values that place a high premium on the connection of people to land and the cultivation of growers.
